Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo (printed edition; press reader), Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.

The report claims that Spurs and Serie A giants Napoli both have offered a fee in the region of €30 million (£27.32 million) for the exciting midfielder.

Napoli are pressing hard to get through with the deal, and are even willing to up their offer to €35 million. They have even offered him a tempting package, and it is up to the player and Barcelona to consider it.

La Liga outfit Valencia are also reportedly interested in him, but Los Che are yet to submit any formal offer for the 23-year-old.

Suarez impressed during his spell with Villarreal in the 2015/16 campaign, where he scored four goals in 33 appearances.

Gareth Bale Is BACK...FIVE Months Late

He joined Barcelona last season, but has struggled for regular games at Camp Nou. He is likely to drop down the pecking order if Barcelona sign either Philippe Coutinho or Dembele, or may be both.

Suarez is a technically gifted footballer who is very attractive to watch. He has a keen eye for passes, and would be a terrific signing for Spurs.

Tottenham remain the only Premier League club not to have signed a player this summer, but the north London giants are expected to make one or two additions before the window closes.
