Crystal Palace are among the leading contenders to sign Sheffield Wednesday’s Forestieri, according to the bookmakers.
Sky Bet have re-opened their market on Fernando Forestieri’s next club, after the Sheffield Wednesday forward was dropped for Saturday’s draw with Queens Park Rangers due to alleged indiscipline.
The bookmakers had previously listed former club Watford as front-runners to sign the Owls’ talisman, with Huddesfield Town second favourites, but later closed the market.

And while Vicarage Road remains Forestieri’s most likely destination (6/1), a new club – Crystal Palace – have emerged as strong contenders for his signature at 13/2.
Crystal Palace are currently short of options up front, with Christian Benteke their only senior option as former Hillsborough loan star Connor Wickham recovers from injury.
And Forestieri, whose favoured position is off the main striker, would certainly bring something different to the table.
The 27-year-old has scored or assisted 41 goals in 78 games for the Owls, who could be open to selling him as they look to raise funds for reinforcements elsewhere.
