West Ham United up their initial bid for William Carvalho by lodging a £32 million offer.
According to a report in the print edition of Diario Record, West Ham United have bid £32 million for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.
The Irons have been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old in recent days.

According to The Daily Mail, the East London side offered £26 million for the Portugal international last week.
But Diario Record have reported now that the Hammers have upped that bid by £6 million after lodging a £32 million offer for the talented midfielder.
It remains to be seen whether that’s enough of a bid by West Ham who, if accepted, would break their transfer record for the second time this summer following the £24 million acquisition of Marko Arnautovic.
Slaven Bilic’s side certainly need a powerful figure in midfield after losing to Manchester United at Old Trafford in their Premier League opener on Sunday.
The Croatian manager has signed five players this summer, but another couple – including a striker – are certainly needed.
