Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Diego Laxalt from Genoa in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies will feature in the Premier League this season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
It has been reported that Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez wants to add 24-year-old midfielder Laxalt to his squad for the 2017-18 season.

Newcastle, though, would have to pay £13.71 million as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the Uruguay international.
The Magpies could also face stiff competition from a number of clubs if they are to secure the services of the Uruguayan this summer.

According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Italian clubs Atalanta and Fiorentina are interested in Laxalt.
