Tottenham Hotspur believe that they have a chance to sign Ajax’s Davison Sanchez.

According to a report in The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a bid for Ajax defender Davison Sanchez.

Ajax value Sanchez at £35 million, but Daniel Levy is set to offer £25 million at first, in a hope of landing the centre-back in a cheap deal.

Tottenham are confident, even if that bid fails, that they will be able to get a deal for the Colombian over the line.

Sanchez is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League, and Spurs feel that they have the funds to snap up the 21-year-old.

Sanchez has impressed hugely with his performances over the past season, with his pace and power making him a stand out defender in the Eredivisie.

Tottenham now believe they are leading the race to sign Sanchez, and could make him their first signing of the summer window.

Spurs fans have grown frustrated with their side’s inactivity this summer, but Sanchez’s arrival could be a boost.
