The former Glasgow Rangers defender has joined the Houston Dynamos.
The 32-year-old centre-back has had to endure much vilification throughout his time in the game, with critics pointing to his lack of pace and poor reading of the developments in play as to reasons why he has never really stamped his authority with any club he has played for.

He certainly failed to impress during his nine month spell at Ibrox, making just three Scottish Premiership starts, and it is little wonder that the Rangers hierarchy decided against offering him a new deal this summer.
The Houston Dynamos have taken a risk on the former Arsenal centre-back, however, confirming that he has joined the club permanently following a successful trial, via their official Twitter account.
The worry for Houston fans regarding Senderos' arrival is that the MLS is a league that is full of pace, power and intensity, and with the Swiss star's lack of speed, and proneness to injuries, he could very well struggle to adapt to the robust nature of the game in America.
