It has been reported by the British tabloid that Bayern are ready to make an offer of £50 million in order to secure the services of the 23-year-old, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder.

Should Tottenham Hotspur accept a £50m offer for Eric Dier?

Dier is one of the best players in the Premier League and has developed into a key figure at Tottenham over the past three or so seasons.

The former Sporting Lisbon youngster’s versatility to play as a defender or as a defensive midfielder makes him a very attractive proposition for any club anywhere in the world.

If Bundesliga outfit Bayern come with an offer of £50m, then it could be hard for Spurs not to at least consider it.

As good as Dier is, that is a lot of money for a player who will have to fight for his place in the starting lineup this season and who is not exactly irreplaceable.
