Leicester City midfielder Matty James is reportedly wanted by West Bromwich Albion in the summer transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Matty James from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that West Brom scouts watched the 26-year-old midfielder in action for Leicester against German club Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday evening.

The former Manchester United prospect featured in the pre-season friendly match for the Foxes and played well.

James is a good and solid midfielder, and the former England Under-20 international would be a good signing for West Brom.

However, it remains to be seen if Leicester would be willing to part company with the midfielder in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has struggled with injury problems during his time at Leicester, but when he is fit and in full swing, then he is a very good player to have in the team.

Leicester will be aiming to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season, and so will West Brom.
