Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman is a loan target for Hearts.
Hearts are keen to take goalkeeper Freddie Woodman on a season-long loan and are waiting to hear back from Newcastle United after submitting a bid, reports the Chronicle.
The youngster enjoyed success on loan in the Scottish Premiership last term, making 15 appearances for Kilmarnock during a temporary spell in the latter half of 2016/17.

Now the Edinburgh side want to bring Woodman north of the border once again, although they face competition from English clubs with League One duo Bury and Northampton Town also interested.
The 20-year-old has played four times for Newcastle in pre-season as manager Rafa Benitez tries to solve his problems between the posts, but he is keen to leave St James’ Park on loan again to achieve valuable first team experience.
Benitez has a bit of a headache in goal after missing out on Willy Caballero and Joe Hart to Chelsea and West Ham United respectively, while Matz Sels has been sold to Anderlecht and Tim Krul has been told he has no future at the club – as reported by the Chronicle.
This leaves Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot, who could remain as the Spaniard’s options if Woodman does get his wish of moving on loan to Hearts, or elsewhere.
