Liverpool’s Sheyi Ojo has been linked with Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, July 23, 2017) reported that Liverpool winger Ojo wants to join Fulham on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).
It was also reported that a deal regarding a sale to Newcastle had collapsed, but it has now been claimed that the Magpies could still secure the services of the 20-year-old.

“Toon boss Rafa Benitez also likes Danny Ings at Liverpool but he has had a knee operation and relations are strained with the Kop over the attempt to take winger Sheyi Ojo,” states the report in The Sun. “Newcastle could yet rescue that deal, but bridges will have to be rebuilt.”

Ojo is a very talented and promising young winger, and the 20-year-old would be a good signing for Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
The England Under-20 international has failed to make a massive impact in the Premier League so far, but given his age and potential, it is only logical to expect him to improve and develop in the coming years.
It would be hard for the youngster to break into the Liverpool first team next season, and working under manager Rafael Benitez at Newcastle would only make him a better footballer.
