Juventus are confident of signing Emre Can this summer after entering the final year of his current Liverpool contract.
Juventus have not given up hope of signing Emre Can this summer and are prepared to pay Liverpool up to £31m to secure the deal, according to Italian publication Tuttosport.
Can has entered the final year of his current contract at Anfield and manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to tie the 23-year-old down to a new deal.
Liverpool’s Emre Can in action
“You can imagine we’re involved in talks and we all feel good and confident in this moment,” Klopp told the Liverpool Echo.
“That means they’re not the worst talks but until anything is done or signed there’s nothing to say.
“Emre is a very important player for us. We don’t want to sell or lose players who are in our first line up or close to it.
“Emre is certainly one of them. We want to keep him and we’re having good talks.”
However, reports from Italy claim that Can wants to move to Juve and the Serie A champions are prepared to pay between £26m and £31m (all bonuses included) to make that happen.
If the Merseysiders hold firm, then La Bianconeri will simply be patient until 12 months time when they can pick the Germany international up on a free transfer.

Can is viewed as the long-term successor to fellow countryman and current star for the Old Lady, Sami Khedira, who is now 30-years-old.
The German has just returned to Melwood for pre-season training having been given an extended break after representing his country at the Confederations Cup in Russia.
