One Twitter account has linked Sheffield Wednesday with a move for the Walsall attacking midfielder.
The social media site is currently rife with reports about players switching clubs - often created and spread by anonymous accounts - and with Wednesday one of the more well-backed sides in their division, they are proving a popular target when it comes to being linked with names in whom they may or may not be interested.
Sheffield Wednesday coach Lee Bullen
But after one such account, @TransferCentre9, claimed the Owls had seen a £300,000 offer accepted for Walsall playmaker Erhun Oztumer, it proved to be the final straw for Bullen, who replied, simply: "WRONG!"
When it was suggested by another user that Oztumer is, shall we say, below the standard of player that should be targeted by Sheffield Wednesday, Bullen explained: "Nope.... (he's) very good little player. We have other priorities at the moment."

Interestingly, HITC Sport understands that Oztumer was of interest to Wednesday's local rivals Sheffield United earlier in the summer, and it's possible whoever is behind the @TransferCentre9 account somehow managed to get their Steel City clubs mixed up.
Whatever the excuse, it goes to show you should never trust anything you read on Twitter unless it's come from a trustworthy account or has been accurately sourced.
And we'd like to think that Bullen will continue his crusade throughout the final weeks of the summer transfer window - though he may have made a rod for his own back if he fails to deny those which are indeed true.
Who should Sheffield Wednesday sign this summer?
