West Ham United are set to sign a reported Newcastle United target, according to a report.

According to Fanatik, West Ham United delegates have travelled to Ankara in Turkey to discuss the prospect of signing Osmanlispor star Badou N’Diaye – and a deal is “expected”.

West Ham are linked with the Senegal international and The Mail reported earlier this month that Slaven Bilic had revived his interest.

Sky Sports claimed that the 26-year-old had previously held talks with Newcastle United but it would appear as if he will not join the Magpies, if the latest report is anything to go by.

Fantatik in Turkey reported today that the Hammers’ officials have travelled to the Turkish capital and a deal is “expected” for the £8.5 million midfielder.

Newcastle fans will be upset if the transfer to the Irons materialises, with N’Diaye representing yet another player who has slipped through their fingers this summer.

Then again, the Magpies might not have been in for since they signed Jacob Murphy for £12 million this week.
