Report: Tottenham Hotspur make bid for Jean Micheal Seri

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make a signing this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino's side quiet so far.

According to a report in Eurosport France, Tottenham Hotspur have made a £13.3 million bid for Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri.

Seri impressed in Ligue 1 last season, when he was a virtual mainstay in Nice’s team.

Seri scored seven goals and claimed nine assists in 34 Ligue 1 matches.

And Tottenham have reportedly made him one of their potential targets this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino reportedly feels that the Ivorian midfielder could represent value for money in an inflated market.

Seri had appeared on the verge of a move to Roma, but that transfer has fallen through, and Spurs are now said to have made their move.

Whether Nice accept Tottenham’s offer remains to be seen, as the 26-year-old is vital to them.

If Seri was to join Spurs he would be in competition with the likes of Moussa Dembele and Victor Wanyama for a midfield place.

Tottenham are the only Premier League side not to have made a signing so far this summer.
