Newcastle United could move for Liverpool’s youngster Sheyi Ojo.
The 20-year-old has been omitted from Liverpool’s trip to Hong Kong in the hope that he will secure his move within the next week.
Back in May, The Chronicle reported about Newcastle’s interest in Ojo. However, Newcastle will only make a move for him if they fail to land Jacob Murphy.

Newcastle United have been heavily linked with a move for the Norwich City midfielder, and the Tyneside club have had an opening bid rejected already.
The Times claims that if Murphy proves too expensive for Newcastle, the club will move for Ojo on a permanent deal.
Ojo is an exciting young talent and he could be a good long term signing for the Magpies.
Liverpool’s star studded attacking unit has been bolstered this summer with the signing of Mohamed Salah from AS Roma.
The youngster would find it extremely difficult to break into the first team at the moment or in the near future. Therefore, a move to Newcastle makes sense.
The Times adds that the Reds would insist on a buy-back clause, like in the deal which took Jordon Ibe to Bournemouth for £15 million last summer.
