Chelsea’s Mario Pasalic is reportedly wanted by Celtic and Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

According to ABCSevilla, Celtic and Leeds United are interested in signing Mario Pasalic from Chelsea in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).

Pasalic is a very talented and promising young midfielder who has been on the books of Chelsea since 2014.

The 22-year-old has already played twice for Croatia, and although he may not have made his Premier League debut for the Blues yet, he has experience of first-team football.

The young midfielder has spent time on loan at Elche, AS Monaco and AC Milan, and his performances have been quite impressive.

It is not hard to understand why Scottish Premiership giants Celtic and Championship club Leeds are (reportedly) interested in Pasalic.

The Croatian would enhance Celtic’s chances of progressing into the group stage of the Champions League next season, while his presence in the team would make Leeds strong contenders for a place in the Championship playoffs during the 2017-18 campaign.

However, it seems that Celtic and Leeds could be set for disappointment in their (reported) pursuit of Pasalic. According to Estadio Deportivo, the midfielder wants to join Real Betis in La Liga in the summer transfer window.

Although Celtic and Leeds are big clubs and have lofty ambitions for next season, if Pasalic does not want to move to either Celtic Park or Elland Road and is keen on joining Betis, then nothing will make him change his mind.
