Newcastle United forward Daryl Murphy is said to be interesting Norwich City.
Norwich have made an inquiry to sign the striker, who is set to leave St. James’ Park this summer.
Murphy has been told to seek new employers, following Newcastle’s promotion to the Premier League.

Murphy scored some important goals for Newcastle on their way to promotion, but Rafael Benitez has now deemed him surplus to requirements.
Benitez wants to strengthen his front line, meaning Murphy’s first-team chances at Newcastle are set to be very slim next term.
Norwich are believed to be interested in the forward, but Newcastle are unwilling to allow the veteran to leave on a free transfer.
The Magpies want around £3 million for Murphy, which could put Norwich off, due to the target man’s limited re-sale value.
Murphy scored five goals in 14 appearances for Newcastle last term, as Benitez’s side secured promotion back to the Premier League.
