West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are all said to be chasing Porto’s Yacine Brahimi.
Brahimi has impressed during his time with Porto, where he has been a regular scorer.
The Algerian international scored seven goals in 31 games last term, with his energy catching the eye.
And Tottenham, Everton and West Ham are now all trying to bring the 27-year-old to the Premier League.
Whether Porto will be open to offers for Brahimi remains to be seen, but the Portuguese giants have previously shown a willingness to sell key stars, if the price is right.
Everton, West Ham and Tottenham have had contrasting transfer windows to date.
Everton have been the most active side in the Premier League, with Ronald Koeman strengthening his options considerably.
West Ham and Spurs, meanwhile, have been far more cautious.
West Ham have bought in just Pablo Zabaleta to date, while Spurs are yet to make a signing.
