Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reportedly wanted by Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion on loan in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that both Newcastle and Brighton, who won promotion to the Premier League from the Championship at the end of last season, want to secure the services of Loftus-Cheek on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old is one of the most promising young midfielders in England, but competition for places at Chelsea is fierce and Loftus-Cheek will have to leave Stamford Bridge in order to get a decent amount of playing time next season.

It must be flattering for the the England Under-21 international that managers such as Chris Hughton and Rafael Benitez want to work with him, but the youngster must choose his next club carefully.
Hughton is a good manager and Brighton are a big club, but moving to the American Express Community Stadium for the 2017-18 campaign would mean fighting against relegation from the top flight of English football.
Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and playing for a team aiming to just remain in the Premier League is not going to be of much help in the long run for Loftus-Cheek.
On the other hand, Newcastle are the perfect club for the Englishman. The Magpies are one of the biggest clubs in England, and under Benitez next season, they will be aiming to break into the top 10 of the Premier League.
Former Liverpool and Chelsea manager Benitez is one of the best tacticians in the game, and working with the Spaniard would only help Loftus-Cheek become a better midfielder with a better understanding of the game.
True, Loftus-Cheek would not be guaranteed playing time at St. James’ Park, but if he wants to develop his game and improve himself, then working under Benitez should be very appealing to him.
