Derby County could be in the market for a winger this summer, after offloading Tom Ince and Abdoul Camara.
Rumoured target George Boyd has already been crossed off the list, having signed for Sheffield Wednesday. But one player who could be considered is Birmingham City's Jacques Maghoma [pictured, below], who has played under Rams boss Gary Rowett at two clubs already.
So what are Derby's chances? HITC Sport takes a look...
What's his situation?
As Rowett will well know, having handed him his contract 14 months ago, Maghoma has entered his final year at Birmingham, who may be open to offers knowing they could lose him for nothing next summer. There has, so far, been little talk of a new deal.
But would he want to leave St Andrew's?
The DR Congo international spent much of last season out of Birmingham's team once Rowett left, but was immediately restored by Harry Redknapp, who had also managed him previously at Tottenham Hotspur.
Nevertheless, Redknapp will be keen to recruit his own players this summer and if new faces arrive in Maghoma's position then a move to Derby would likely appeal - if it doesn't already. The 29-year-old has undoubtedly played his best football under Rowett, at Burton and Blues.
Would he be a worthwhile recruit?
Maghoma has scored or assisted 14 goals in 72 games for Birmingham, which is certainly not to be sniffed at. And while those numbers may be inferior to Ince's at Derby [55 goals and assists in 115 outings], Rowett would perhaps fancy his chances of improving them at Pride Park.
