Sunderland appointed Simon Grayson as their new manager yesterday.
According to a report in the Daily Express, new Sunderland boss Simon Grayson has a £20 million transfer budget at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland announced Grayson as their new manager yesterday, after weeks of searching.
The Black Cats first went after Derek McInnes, but after the Aberdeen boss turned them down, their attention turned to Grayson.

Sunderland were given permission to speak to the experienced boss by Preston North End yesterday, and talks progressed quickly – with the 47-year-old being announced later in the evening.
There were some fears that Grayson wouldn’t have much funds to invest in Sunderland’s squad.
However, the Express suggest that Grayson will have £20 million to spend on new players.
Grayson’s first priority is apparently to bring in two new strikers, as Sunderland need to improve their attacking options.
The Black Cats have sold Jermain Defoe to Bournemouth, which leaves them short of strikers for the upcoming campaign.
