Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has left the winger out of his squad for Thursday’s Europa League tie at Ibrox.

Bookmaker Bet Victor has released odds on Barrie McKay’s next club, after the Rangers winger was left out of Pedro Caixinha’s squad to face Progres Niederkorn on Thursday.

McKay turned down a new deal at Rangers earlier this year and looks certain to leave Ibrox after entering the final 12 months of his existing contract.

Nottingham Forest have been strongly linked with a move for the 22-year-old, who excelled under Reds boss Mark Warburton at Rangers.

And, somewhat unsurprisingly, Forest have been made 5/2 frontrunners to sign him before September 3, although they could face competition from fellow English Championship side Cardiff City, who are 6/1 second favourites.

At 8/1, Rangers’ rivals Aberdeen could also mount a challenge, with Jonny Hayes sold to Celtic and another Dons winger, Niall McGinn, not expected back at Pittodrie this coming campaign.

Rangers have already prised Ryan Jack from Aberdeen and bid for his old teammate Kenny McLean this week, manager Derek McInnes told The Daily Record.
