Madger Gomes has joined Leeds United after being released by Liverpool.
Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the signing of Madger Gomes.
The Championship club announced on their official website earlier today that they have secured the services of Gomes.
The 20-year-old Spanish midfielder has joined the West Yorkshire outfit following his release from Premier League club Liverpool.
Gomes joined the Merseyside outfit in 2014, but the youngster failed to make a single appearance in the Premier League for the Reds.
As announced on Leeds’s official website, Gomes will initially link up with the club’s Under-23 side, with a view to training with the first team.
One suspects that if the Spanish midfielder impresses for the Under-23 team and trains well with the senior side, then he will get his chance to feature in the Championship.
Gomes is a talented and promising young player, and he could prove to be a long-term success for Leeds.
