Bolton Wanderers, Millwall and Leeds United have been linked with departing Fleetwood Town defender Conor McLaughlin.
Leeds United are interested in signing Conor McLaughlin in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, June 25, 2017).
McLaughlin is set to leave Fleetwood Town at the end of the month when his current contract with the League One outfit runs out.
According to the report, Uwe Rosler’s Fleetwood have withdrawn the offer to hand the 25-year-old defender a new deal.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, June 25, 2017), Millwall and Bolton Wanderers are also interested in signing McLaughlin in the summer transfer window.
McLaughlin is a good right-back, and the 25-year-old former Preston North End defender would be a good signing for Leeds, especially as he would be a free signing.
This is not the first time that the West Yorkshire outfit have been linked with the Northern Ireland international.
Back in July 2016, The Yorkshire Evening Post reported that Leeds were planning to make a move for the right-back.
It was claimed that the Championship club had made contact with Fleetwood about the defender’s availability following his performances at the European Championship in France last summer.
