Salah has played in the Premier League before - with Chelsea - but the Egypt international winger failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.

The 25-year-old winger has since matured and has arrived at Anfield with a strong reputation, having enjoyed a good 2016-17 campaign on a personal level at Roma.

The former Basel star scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in 31 Serie A appearances, according to WhoScored.

Salah also scored two goals and provided one assist in six Europa League games and featured in two Champions League matches last season, according to WhoScored.
