Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi
It's hard to imagine Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi being a Glasgow Rangers player next season, despite the Ibrox side's alleged interest in the £33 million man.
If a move to Pedro Caixinha's side was to happen, it would most likely be on loan and would perhaps require a huge slice of generosity from Chelsea, who are said to pay Batshuayi six-figures a week in wages.
And even then, there's a high probability that Rangers would be gazumped by someone south of the border.
Still, you can't knock the Scottish giants' ambition, and if they are hoping to punch above their weight this summer, perhaps the following trio would be slightly more attainable.
Danny Ings [Liverpool]
Linked with a move to Rangers during last summer's transfer window, after bookmakers SkyBet slashed their odds on a deal happening, Ings endured another frustrating campaign at Liverpool, who are expected to add to their striking options over the coming months. First team football will likely be high on the 24-year-old's agenda next term, and it wouldn't hurt to make an enquiry.
Oumar Niasse [Everton]
While Niasse may have impressed on loan to Hull City, he does not appeared to have changed Ronald Koeman's opinion of him. Wages could again be an issue for Rangers, although the Senegal international should still be cheaper than Batshuayi, especially with Everton seemingly desperate to offload him.
Saido Berahino [Stoke City]
Listed as a shock target for Rangers in January, Berahino ultimately signed for Stoke instead. However, after a long time sidelined, the former England Under-21 star has so far failed to rediscover his previous West Bromwich Albion form and a temporary move to Ibrox could help to coax out his talent - if, of course, Stoke are willing to oblige.
Could Rangers lure any of the above to Ibrox this summer?
