According to reports from The Independent, Crystal Palace is looking to appoint Mauricio Pellegrino as their next manager.
Pellegrino left the managerial post at Alaves only a fortnight ago, and is looking to test himself in the Premier League.

Marco Silva was Palace’s first choice target but the Portuguese chose to take over at Watford instead.
The report states that Palace has been interviewing candidates this week, and Pellegrino was one of the surprise names to have impressed the senior officials at the club.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Palace have already started the negotiations with Pellegrino and the club is seeking an agreement with him shortly.
The report also adds that Palace is also considering the option of approaching Claudio Ranieri who is looking to return to the Premier League again after leaving Leicester City.
