According to a recent report from the Daily Mirror, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is interested in bringing AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca to the Emirates next season, as part of a major investment move in his squad.

The 30-year-old Colombian striker, who rose to fame after scoring 49 goals in 108 games for Spanish side Sevilla, has been AC Mlilan's main striker since 2015, scoring 34 goals in 74 appearances for the Rossoneri.

With Arsenal in need of a more consistent and reliable striker next season, it's no real surprise to see Wenger's side linked with a move for the Colombian forward. However, one of Arsenal's rivals are also in need of a new centre-forward, and might now reconsider their previous interest in Bacca.

Back at the beginning of May, West Ham United were linked with a move for the striker by Talksport, having chased him last summer. The Hammers have struggled for goals this season, after recruiting poorly over the summer and losing star striker Andy Carroll to a number of subsequent injuries.

With Bacca clearly angling for a move away from Milan, should West Ham United considering reigniting their interest in the forward this summer? Manager Slaven Bilic, who has been under pressure at times this season, needs to make sure he recruits well this summer, and Carlos Bacca would add some real quality to this side.

However, at 30-years-old, the Croatian manager may instead intent to pursue younger targets, with more to prove. The Hammers had been linked by The Sun with a loan move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and an ambitious bid for Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho.
