Derby County have previously scouted Hearts winger Jamie Walker, who has been linked with a move to Rangers.
Hearts' Jamie Walker celebrates
According to a recent report from the BBC, Hearts winger Jamie Walker is seeking an exit from Hearts this summer. The winger, who has scored 15 goals for Ian Cathro's side this season, has been previously linked with a move to Scottish Premiership rivals Rangers, by the Express.
However, Ibrox might not be the only possible destination for Jamie Walker this summer. Back in September, it was reported by the Derby Telegraph that Derby County were monitoring the winger, after then-manager Steve McClaren and members of the club's scouting team travelled to watch Hearts play Rangers in November.

New Derby County manager Gary Rowett has been given a mandate this summer to overhaul what has been a largely under-performing, and will be tasked with moving on a number of the Rams' players, as well as bringing in new faces. With Walker having already been targeted as a player who could improve the side in a key area, Rowett should revisit the club's scouting records and step up previous interest in the winger.
However, Rangers Pedro Caixinha will be just as keen to bring in new faces. Rangers fans have been disappointed with the last season, and will want to see quick and obvious improvements as quickly as possible in the next campaign, so the Glasgow giant can get back to challenging Celtic for the title. Walker would add the kind of quality Rangers need to get them back in the right direction.

So will it be Ibrox, Pride Park or somewhere else for Hearts winger Jamie Walker next season? The wide man seems to have made his intention to leave Tynecastle clear, and his transfer could become one of the many sagas of the summer.
And with a buzz beginning to build around Gary Rowett's Derby County, Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha might have a task on his hands to keep the impressive winger in Scotland next season.
