According to L’Equipe, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, but face competition from both Bayern Munich and Juventus.
Spurs enjoyed another superb season under Mauricio Pochettino, finishing second in the Premier League table with the league’s best attack, best defence and leading goalscorer, as well as the fewest defeats in the league.

With Champions League football again on the horizon, manager Pochettino must look to bring in new signings, with a winger potentially on his radar given Moussa Sissoko’s struggles at White Hart Lane, whilst Georges-Kevin Nkoudou made little impact last season and Erik Lamela has been out since October.
Now, L’Equipe report that Tottenham are pursuing a summer move for Monaco star Thomas Lemar, though competition from Bayern Munich and Juventus means they could struggle to land him.
Monaco’s Thomas Lemar
Lemar, 21, joined Monaco from Caen in 2015, and whilst he hit five goals last season, he has really come into his own this term, racking up 14 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.
The French international is now considered to be one of Europe’s most promising wingers, possessing pace, skill and crucially, an end product, with clubs seemingly queueing up for his signature.

Lemar would bring speed to the Spurs attack, which has often been lacking, but with Champions League giants Bayern Munich and Juventus also keen, Daniel Levy will have to dig deep and move quickly to land Lemar.
Factor in that Monaco just sold playmaker Bernardo Silva to Manchester City and surely won’t want to lose another key attacking player, and it may be hard for Spurs to prise Lemar away this summer – but he’s a talent worth pushing for.
