Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has been better than Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante, says Glenn Hoddle.

Glenn Hoddle has suggested in The Daily Mail that Tottenham Hotspur are facing a challenge regarding keeping hold of Harry Kane.

The Tottenham legend has been impressed with the performances of Kane for Tottenham this season.

The England international striker has ended the 2016-17 Premier League campaign as the top scorer with 29 goals, four more than Everton star Romelu Lukaku.

Hoddle has claimed that the 23-year-old’s performances this season have been better than Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante, and has picked the Spurs star as his player of the season.

The former Chelsea midfielder, though, believes that Tottenham now face a challenge to keep hold of Kane.

“His attitude, movement and finishing have been world class,” Hoddle wrote about Kane in The Daily Mail.

“Eden Hazard is a beautiful creator and would be on my list, while N’Golo Kante has had a wonderful season but he’s a destroyer.

“Creating chances or scoring them is the hardest thing. Kane’s done that for three straight seasons. Tottenham’s challenge now is to keep him.”

Challenge?

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, and his performances over the past three seasons have been superb.

True, top clubs in Europe and in England could make moves for the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window, but it is hard to see the Englishman leave.

Just why would Kane leave Tottenham? The striker is enjoying his football at Spurs, the fans love him, and the club will play in the Champions League for the second year in a row.
