Barnsley's Marley Watkins celebrates
Marley Watkins is wanted by Premier League Burnley following his decision to leave Barnsley this summer, The Sun reports (11 May, page 53).
Burnley have effectively sealed their place in next season's top flight, needing just a point to secure their survival.
However, the Clarets could be about to lose George Boyd regardless, with the attacking midfielder said to have interest from others clubs as his contract runs down, and Watkins, whose deal is also up, could replace the 31-year-old for nothing.

Winger Watkins scored 10 goals and created another nine in his first ever Championship campaign, and has a number of suitors at that level, according to The Sun.
The report claims Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keen on the 26-year-old, along with long-term admirers Cardiff City and Bristol City.
Norwich are not short of wide players, although sporting director Stuart Webber suggested to the Eastern Daily Press on Thursday he is braced for interest in Alex Pritchard and the Murphy twins, Jacob and Josh.
And Wolves find themselves in a similar position, with Helder Costa said to have caught the eye of several Premier League and European sides.

Both clubs are hoping to challenge at the top of the Championship next term, with Norwich ending the campaign in eighth, seven places clear of Wolves.
Burnley were linked with a move for Watkins' teammate Josh Scowen in January, and the central midfielder is also available at the end of his contract.
