Sheffield United have agreed a fee with Hartlepool United for the transfer of winger Nathan Thomas, according to Sky Sports.
It is claimed the Blades have made an offer in the region of £300,000 for Thomas, who was previously said to be interesting Fulham, QPR and Wolves (Sky Sports).
Thomas scored nine goals and made another three in 33 outings as Hartlepool were relegated from League Two on the season’s final day.
Nevertheless, it would appear that Chris Wilder’s side are confident the 22-year-old can perform at a higher level, following their promotion back to the Championship.

North Yorkshire-born Thomas was on the books of Newcastle United and Sunderland as a kid, and later had spells at Plymouth Argyle, Motherwell and Mansfield Town before signing for the Monkey Hangers last summer.
Should the move go ahead, Thomas would become Sheffield United’s second summer signing after Chesterfield striker Ched Evans.
