West Ham's mixed form this season has not been helped by uncertainty at the goalkeeper position.

The Hammers have flipped between Adrian and Darren Randolph, and one conclusion could be that quite simply, West Ham are in need of a new goalkeeper.

A big move for Joe Hart is one option West Ham could pursue, but another smart move could be to target Liverpool's hidden talent, stopper Danny Ward.

Ward is a Wales international who has never really had a chance at Liverpool, instead sent out on loan.

Last season he impressed for Scottish side Aberdeen, and this campaign he has played a key role in the Championship for promotion chasers Huddersfield Town.

Ward has been a regular for the Terriers, featuring in more than 40 games and has a play-off run to look forward to.

His path to the first team at Liverpool is blocked by Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, meaning Ward will have to move on if he wants to play regular first team football.

At just 23, Ward is more of a long term option than Randolph, 29, whose form has left more questions than answers this season.

Surplus to requirements at Anfield, Ward has a bright future ahead of him and won't cost much at all. West Ham have a bargain on their hands if they make him a top target this summer.
