Leicester's Robert Huth responds on Twitter to Alexis Sanchez's 'sore lip’ pic

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger speaks with Alexis Sanchez as he sits injured

Who would have thought that the biggest talking point from Wednesday's game between Arsenal and Leicester City would have come from a thrown in?

Alexis Sanchez and Christian Fuch's rather bizarre squabble at a throw-in at the end of Arsenal's narrow win over Leicester City in midweek may have embarrassed and entertained in equal measure, with the Chilean seemingly getting hit on the shoulder by the ball only to go down clutching his face. But, that was just the start of it, with social media fanning the flames of the incident.

Many were quick to question Sanchez's antics during the 1-0 win at the Emirates, viewing it not only as against the rules of the game for him to block the Foxes defender's throw - for which he was booked - but also poor sportsmanship and timewasting to go down belatedly and holding a different part of the body than he was struck.

Sanchez duly took to social media after the game to emphasise the extent of his injury, pulling his lip down to show a small cut.

Leicester defender Robert Hutch has since responded, apparently teasing the Arsenal man's post, by posting a picture of his own mortal wound.

Now the former German international isn't known to be the most sensitive of souls, so perhaps he is making a point to the Gunners' talisman?
