Sullivan, fellow co-owner David Gold and Karren Brady have come under fire for washing the club's dirty linen in public.

Fans have also been critical of Sullivan's sons David and Jack for discussing club affairs and transfers on Twitter.

A bizarre columnist dubbed The Insider - which openly discussed transfer targets and fees amongst other things - was pulled from the club's official website on the orders of Brady earlier this season after she was inundated with complaints from supporters.

So you can imagine how West Ham fans have reacted to the revelation from Jack Sullivan that he is to write a twice monthly column for national newspaper The Sun.

Announcing his column, Jack said on Twitter: "My first Sun article, about the Swansea game. Check it out, will be writing 1/2 a month."

The teenager went on to insist he will not be 'giving anything away' and donates the fee for the column to charity.

But fans were still disappointed, with some furious reactions.

As the son of the club's owner and a West Ham fan, it must be exciting for young Jack who says he just wants to interact with the club's supporters.

Indeed many fans enjoy his regular updates and inside information, particularly when the transfer window is open and in full swing.

But just as many feel it is unnecessary and point to the example set by other clubs who conduct their business in a more professional manner.
