Lee Bullen was asked on Twitter about the Sheffield United striker’s Owls remarks.
Sheffield Wednesday number two Lee Bullen
Lee Bullen, the Sheffield Wednesday assistant manager, has responded brilliantly to Billy Sharp’s comments about the Owls on Talksport.
Sharp, who was celebrating being crowned League One player of the year a day after securing Sheffield United’s promotion, told the radio station on Sunday that he hoped rivals Wednesday lose the Championship play-off final on penalties so that the Blades can beat them twice next season.
But when asked if he’ll be pinning a copy of the lifelong Unitedite’s remarks on Wednesday’s dressing room wall as the Owls seek to make up for last year’s near miss, Bullen replied, simply: “Who?”
It’s five years since the two local rivals appeared in the same division, when Wednesday pipped the Blades to second in League One.
And those from the blue half of the city will hope that back-to-back wins against Rotherham United and Newcastle United can be the springboard to prolonging the pair’s reunion, having restored Carlos Carvalhal’s side to sixth in the standings.

The Owls are currently two points clear of seventh-placed Fulham, who travel to Hillsborough on the season’s final day.
