Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has ushered heaps of praise on striker, Harry Kane, saying he is one of the best players he has at his disposal.

The England striker, who earns £100,000-a-week, according to the Guardian, is set to return to action against Watford after nursing his ankle injury.

Kane suffered an injury against Millwall in the FA quarter-final clash last month and out of action since. Spurs recorded four wins and scored 13 goals despite his absence, and it only goes to show the depth in the squad.

Pochettino insists that Kane having to fight his way back into the squad would be like Barcelona leaving out Lionel Messi. He is as important to Tottenham as Messi is to Barcelona.

“If he plays tomorrow or doesn’t play from the beginning, I think there’s no doubt that Harry is one of our best players,” Pochettino said, as quoted by The Times

“It’s like in Barcelona; if Messi is injured for one month, and Barcelona is still winning, and Messi is available again . . . I think there’s no doubt that Harry is one of the best players that we have.”

The 23-year-old has been in great form this season, and has scored 19 goals in the Premier League. His return to action has come sooner than expected, and Pochettino claims the striker was keen to get back into action in training.

Spurs, trailing Chelsea by seven points, will be rejuvenated with Kane’s return to action, as action, and they will be looking to end the campaign on a high.
