Hamburg's Walace challenging Naby Keita of RB Leipzig
A report from The Mirror earlier this week suggested that Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to land RB Leipzig star Naby Keita.
Keita, 22, has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga season with seven goals and seven assists since joining RB Leipzig from sister club Red Bull Salzburg last summer, capping off a meteoric rise for the midfielder.
From Horoya in his native Guinea, to Istres in France and then Salzburg and Leipzig, Keita has has enjoyed a rise to stardom over the last five years, and he is now one of the most in-demand midfielders in Europe.
Diminutive and hard-working, Keita has earned favourable comparisons to Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, but his ability to create and score in the final third has also seen him likened to former Barcelona ace Deco.
Those comparisons and his displays in the Bundesliga will excite Spurs fans if Tottenham do make their move, and the Guinean ace has been compared to another top player in recent memory.

However, Keita's dream is to become the top African player in the world, and told Bundesliga.com that his idol is Manchester City star Yaya Toure, with the Ivorian carving out a career as one of the Premier League's top players over the last seven years.
Spurs would no doubt love to see a player arrive at White Hart Lane with a mix of Kante, Deco, Iniesta and Toure, and in Keita, they could land exactly that – but Leipzig will naturally charge a huge price for such a hot commodity.
