O’Toole has impressed for Northampton in their first season back in League One after helping them win promotion last season.
The Irishman has been a virtual ever-present for Northampton this term, making 44 appearances in all competitions and chipping in with 12 goals from midfield.
O’Toole has played an instrumental role in helping Northampton steer clear of the relegation zone and he is a big fans’ favourite at Sixfields.
The 28-year-old is out of contract this summer and as yet no new deal has been agreed at Northampton alerting a number of clubs to O’Toole’s possible availability on a free transfer.
O’Toole, who started his career at Watford, has made over 100 appearances for Northampton since joining the club from Bristol Rovers in 2014.
Northampton boss Justin Edinburgh is thought to be a big fan of O’Toole and will be keen to keep hold of the goalscoring midfielder as he plans for his first full season in charge of the Cobblers next term.
