The Celtic fanbase, who are one of the most loyal in world football, have experienced many highs and lows over the last decade; some incredible results domestically and in Europe. There have been shocks and disappointment, surprising football supporters all over Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom on numerous occasions. Here's a look at three sensational Celtic comebacks.
1. Hearts 2-3 Celtic (01/01/2006)
Stephen McManus - Celtic
Two late goals from Celtic defender Stephen McManus saw The Bhoys fend off rivals Hearts back in 2006. Hearts had gone 2-0 up thanks to Edgaras Jankauskas latching onto a cross from Paul Hartley, followed by a headed goal from Steven Pressley. But after Stephen Pearson tapped home from Shaun Maloney's cross, the game turned in Celtic's favour, and defender McManus rose to the occasion, tapping home from a Shaun Maloney cross, and then heading in a great ball from Nakamura in the final minutes.
2. Celtic 4-3 Aberdeen (16/03/2013)
Georgios Samaras - Celtic with Willo Flood - Aberdeen
Despite taking the lead after just 12 seconds through Kris Commons, The Bhoys found themselves behind after a goal from Scott Vernon and a brace from Josh Magennis, putting Craig Brown's men 1-3 up. Celtic weren't to be beaten that easily though, as goals from Charlie Mulgrew and Gary Hooper brought them level. But who would be the hero? Who else but their Greek talisman Georgios Samaras, burying an overhead kick in the final moments of the game.
3. Celtic 4-2 Kilmarnock (14/01/2006)
Zurawski - Celtic v Kilmarnock
After squandering a 2-0 lead, Celtic had it all to do against Kilmarnock back in 2006. The Bhoys had taken the lead through goals from Nakamura and a Shaun Maloney penalty. However, another penalty from Naismith and a goal from substitute Invincibile brought Killie level just after half-time. Once again, that man McManus rose to the occasion putting Celtic back level, before Zurawski sealed the points in the 67th minute.
