Bolton Wanderers Chairman Ken Anderson is confident that the club will have had it's transfer embargo lifted by the summer, according to a report by The Bolton News.
The report confirmed that the Whites chairman has planned talks with BluMarble finance, the company who provided Dean Holdsworth with the funding to complete the takeover last March.
Bolton Wanderers, who are currently second in League One, six points behind first placed Sheffield United, are looking for promotion straight back to the Championship come the end of the season. However, in order to keep themselves there, the club will need to be able to invest in improving the squad; thus why the lifting on the transfer embargo is so important.
Many Bolton Wanderers fans had hoped the club would be running away with the league this season, as you might expect a club of their size to do. However, bouncing back from relegation is a tough task. Just ask fans of Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Charlton Athletic.
