The wing-back is also wanted back at parent club Juventus.

Leonardo Spinazzola

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tracks on Italian full-back Leonardo Spinazzola, according to reports in Italy.

It is reported by Calcio News 24 that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is interested in the player. The 23-year-old can play at both left-back and on the left-wing, playing his best football when teams play three at the back. This is a system Pochettino is looking to use on a regular basis and is behind the interest.

However, Spurs are not alone. Juventus are also keen on the player, who has been compared to Italian World Cup winner Gianluca Zambrotta by many Italian pundits.

He is currently out on loan at Atalanta from Juventus, after originally joining the Bianconeri in 2012. He has spent time out on loan with five other teams since arriving at Juventus and he would undoubtedly relish the chance to play with the Old Lady.

However, Tottenham will undoubtedly be appealing for the player, considering in five years Juventus have never given him a shot.

Spurs may have to pay out for the talented player, who has just received his first call-up for the Italian national team.

But he would undoubtedly be a useful addition if Spurs are to continue playing three at the back.
