The former Ibrox favourite was critical of some Rangers players after Mark Warburton's departure last month.
Rangers legend Lorenzo Amoruso
Rangers legend Lorenzo Amoruso's latest Instagram post appears to have gone down well with the club's fans.
Amoruso won two trebles and another three trophies on top of that during his six years at Ibrox, which led to his induction into Rangers' hall of fame.
Alongside a picture of his hall of fame award, the Italian posted: "This is what every player should have as target when you wear the RANGERS FC top".
Rangers fans on Twitter replied in their numbers to Amoruso, who arrived at the club from Fiorentina 20 years ago, with many left wishing the 46-year-old was still at Ibrox now.

@Lamoruso71 Spot on. Most of them do not really know how lucky they are.— Pedro Caixinha (@AllanRFC_) 21 March 2017
Amoruso's message comes less than a month after he hit out at a number of Rangers players, claiming they are "not of the standard you would associate" with the club, which has 54 Scottish top-flight titles to its name.
The Light Blues are currently third in the standings, in what is their first season back in the Premiership, but trail second-placed Aberdeen by eight points, and Old Firm rivals Celtic by 33.
The club's poor showing led to the departure of Mark Warburton as manager at the start of February, but Amoruso told the Sunday Post: "I always think a coach can only influence 50 per cent - at most - of what goes on in any game.

"So you have to also take a close look at those who wear the jerseys.
"And I must say that, in my opinion, in the group there are some players who are maybe not of the standard you would associate with Rangers Football Club."
