Everton are looking like having a battle on their hands to keep hold of their star players this summer.
Both Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley have been linked with a potential exit from Everton this summer.
Losing Barkley would be a big blow for Ronald Koeman, who has started to turn the promise of the young player into something more tangible.
But if he did depart, does he already know the perfect replacement?
Koeman worked wonders with Tonny Vilhena at Feyenoord and looked to be developing a star. His past two seasons have been less impressive after disagreements at the club but he is now back in great form and hoping to lead Feyenoord to an Eredivisie title.

Like Barkley, Vilhena’s talent is mercurial and needs to be harnessed right for it to really pay off. The man who has harnessed it best so far in his short career was Koeman.
He would not be an overly expensive signing and could, in time, go on to ease the pain of Barkley’s exit should he decide to move on from Goodison Park this summer.
