Celtic’s Kieran Tierney celebrates
Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney is one of Scotland’s brightest young stars, becoming a key first team player under manager Brendan Rodgers.
The teenager’s performances have been attracting rave reviews, and seen him become the subject of transfer speculation.
The Sun reported last week that Arsenal have been watching Tierney and are considering a summer move, and a report in The Mirror today indicated he is also on their list of summer priorities.
This has not been lost on Tierney himself, who ‘liked’ a post on Twitter connecting him with a potential transfer to the Gunners.

An errant tap of the button, or a bit of carelessness from the Scotland international?
Celtic fans might be slightly worried as to where Tierney’s head lies suddenly, with the speculation over his future cranking up.
He may well simply see the links as a confidence booster, verification that he is playing well, and think nothing further of it.
But by the same token, Tierney may just be open to a move to the North London club if their interest becomes more significant in the summer.
