Celtic pair Dembele and Armstrong have been in fine form for Brendan Rodgers’ side – could they replace Lukaku and Barkley at Everton?

Everton are tracking Celtic pair Moussa Dembele and Stuart Armstrong, according to The Express.
The Toffees have reportedly kept a close eye on Dembele, who has scored 32 goals for the Bhoys since arriving from Fulham last summer, and view him as a cheaper alternative to Lyon’s £50-million-rated front man Alexandre Lacazette.
Armstrong is also said to have captured the attention of the Merseyside club, having scored 10 goals and made another seven from central midfield this season.
The 24-year-old’s contract expires next summer, however, and he has yet to sign an extension at Celtic Park.
Everton’s alleged interest in the pair comes after top scorer Romelu Lukaku confirmed he will not sign a new deal with the Toffees, and the Belgian striker, along with midfield teammate Ross Barkley, was this week linked with a summer move to Chelsea.
Like Armstrong, Barkley’s contract also has less than 18 months to run, although Lukaku is tied to Goodison Park until 2019.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is no stranger to signing players from Celtic, with Fraser Forster and Virgil van Dijk linking up with his Southampton side in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
