Leeds United hero Pontus Jansson is in the midst of battle, fighting to help the Whites win promotion as the season enters it's business end.

So if he hoped the international break could provide some respite, he will have to think again.

Sweden announced their squad for their upcoming fixtures yesterday and as Leeds United confirmed, Jansson has been called up once again, further reward for his terrific performances.

His task? Stop Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sweden face Portugal in an international friendly on March 28, days after their World Cup qualifier against Belarus.

Jansson's style doesn't lend itself to the term 'friendly', and Ronaldo could be in for a nasty surprise when he goes up against the tough tackling Leeds centre-back.

Ronaldo is in typically ruthless form in La Liga, scoring 19 goals in 21 games so far this season, and a further seven club goals in all competitions. His record at Real Madrid is a staggering 390 goals in 381 games.

With 66 goals at international level for Portugal, Jansson will have his work cut out keeping him quiet, but the competitor in him is likely to rise to the task and make this a fascinating encounter to watch.
