Leeds United are reportedly plotting a summer swoop for Ollie Watkins.
The Sun (12/03 page 61) report the Championship side are keen on the striker.
Watkins has scored 13 goals and provided nine assists in 23 league matches this season.
The 21-year-old’s form has made him one of the hottest properties in the Football League and the Grecians face a tough battle to hang onto him this summer.
Exeter are in seventh place in League Two while Leeds are occupying a Championship play-off spot.
They have been reliant on 22 goal forward Chris Wood this season and lack competition for him in attack.
Having failed to sign another striker in January, a new forward is expected to be a priority in the summer.
As a promising young talent Watkins is an ideal candidate to provide back up for Wood while maintaining the up and coming profile of the squad which Garry Monk is building.
