Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers have been linked with Rashid Sumaila in the summer transfer window.

Pedro Caixinha wants to sign Rashid Sumaila for Rangers, according to The Daily Record.
It has been reported that Caixinha is set to be appointed as the Rangers manager in the coming days.
The Portuguese is expected to be in Glasgow on Saturday and will watch Sunday’s Old Firm derby against Celtic at Celtic Park from the stands.
According to the report in The Daily Record, the Portuguese boss will try to sign Sumaila from his former club Al-Ghafara. The 24-year-old defender is currently on loan at Al-Gharafa from Qadsia SC.
Sumaila has earned six caps for Ghana and is, according to The Daily Record, the godson of Caixinha.
Rangers would not have to pay any transfer fee for the Ghana international. The defender is reportedly out of contract at Al-Qadsia at the end of June, which means that the Gers would be able to snap him up on a free transfer.
The Glasgow giants have been looking for a new manager since the departure of Mark Warburton last month.
The Gers’ chances of winning the Scottish Premiership title this season have long gone, but they do have a chance of ending up second.
